I don’t know where I’d be today if it wasn’t for Nadia. I met her in 1996, just before graduating from an occupational therapy program in Cape Town, South Africa. As it happened, soon after arriving in the United States for my first job, I met my husband and settled down to have a family. My career has flourished.
