From Alberta to Louisiana: Celebrating Ricci’s US Nursing Journey

Despite almost a year of searching for a position as a RN and trying out multiple agencies I haven’t received any actual help. One time I even got through all the process up to the moment where I was to sign the contract when it turned out that everything was wrong.
That is until I was recommended to contact Nadia from All Med Search. She provided me with accurate information and basically the moment I confirmed that I’d like to take the job offer she’s given me I got the interview scheduled. Nadia immediately answers all my text and calls me whenever the issue is more complex and needs to be discussed/explained on the phone. Despite the great amount of questions I have, Nadia is always there to help me through. A fantastic person and fantastic employee for a fantastic company.

I don’t know where I’d be today if it wasn’t for Nadia. I met her in 1996, just before graduating from an occupational therapy program in Cape Town, South Africa. My heart was set on moving to the United States, but I had no clue where to start my journey. Nadia made it possible, without fanfare, quietly and efficiently behind the scenes. Her calm demeanor and gentle patience made me feel secure and cared for as she guided me through the process and took care of all the bureaucratic steps that I didn’t even know existed. As it happened, soon after arriving in the United States for my first job, I met my husband and settled down to have a family. My career has flourished. I am glad I have kept in touch with Nadia all these years. She was pivotal in my life even though she doesn’t know it.
